The first annual San Diego Entrepreneur Day is “By and For Entrepreneurs”.
It’s FREE and open for families to attend. Attendees must register to be entered into multiple raffles to win prizes, such as $100 Gift Cards from Microsoft and laptop computers.
Entrepreneur Day is a county-wide outreach and entertainment event providing many of the following benefits such as; learn how to launch a startup concept or grow an existing company/business, or areas related to: customer acquisition, new product/service education, future partnerships, investor introductions, inventors, mentors, as well as other interactive and useful experiences and activities for all who attend. Other opportunities include: match making in the areas of business and customer development, product demonstrations, market research surveys, talent search, internships, resume workshops, employment interviews, companies seeking distributors, and manufacturing and suppliers.
For one day, if all of the entrepreneurial communities in San Diego can come together to celebrate, recognize and collaborate, it will only help San Diego grow stronger as a whole.
In the race to be “America’s Most Entrepreneurial City”, this event is scheduled for Saturday, September 22, 2012 – from 10AM to 5PM with an after event party from 6PM to 9PM. The venue is located in the popular downtown East Village Business District, San Diego’s largest eclectic urban neighborhood with trendy warehouse-loft style buildings, adjacent to Petco Park. The East Village Association is this event’s official community outreach partner.
San Diego Entrepreneur Day will inspire many people, including the unemployed and university students, and bring confidence to those looking to take their business concepts to reality by meeting their peers. There will be potential collaboration and partnership opportunities with the event’s participating exhibitors, attendees and sponsors.
With over 150 exhibitor booths and over 10 interactive events and activities planned, San Diego Entrepreneur Day offers an open invitation to all vertical markets and startups: Tech/Internet, Food/Beverage, Bar/Restaurants, Financial/Insurance, Bio/ Medical, Sports/Lifestyle, Fashion/Design/Arts, Music/Entertainment, Automotive, Energy/Eco, Travel/Hotel, Print/Digital Media, Legal, Real Estate, Aerospace, Military/Government, Non-Profits, Personal and Professional Development Services and more.
